The actual investment of a startup or a venture is time and effort. That is, you’re not going to spend almost no money but be prepared to work (at least the first 6 months) until 3am every day including weekends.

Also be prepared to take hours (or days) of uncertainty, not knowing if you’re really right or not, one of the biggest challenges not get money but convince yourself you’re doing something good even though most people tell you otherwise.

That said, here are some tips for those who want to start a venture but have almost no money:

• He uses every tool available to you now: your computer, your knowledge, your internet connection and your apartment, room or the study of your parents.
• Take advantage of all the knowledge you have and apply them to your new company and at least initially do everything you can for yourself, the same goes for your partners, if you have them. So you reduce the staff to a minimum and spend less on salaries.
• Apple started in the garage of the parents of Steve Jobs, is not ashamed to start in your own room.
• No office tenants. No office tenants. No office tenants. I cannot stop repeating it  must not stop listening to people saying you need one. This is because the status quo says have they had an office to have a business. Not true. When really your own office you need to know. Meanwhile, you will save the largest expense that your company can have.
• Maximize open source but the two sides used all the free tools you can but try to send your donations.
• Do not waste time on small things, launches as soon as possible, correct as you go.
• Listen to others, but not too much: when you do new things many do not understand and therefore disapprove. It’s good to listen to advice from outside but do not take it as a rule of thumb.

With this you can be out in a week with almost no money but as I said before, be prepared to invest much time: up early, sleep late and forget your social life.
