1. Have confidence in yourself?  This is the magical power of having confidence in yourself and your strengths and abilities. This is not bravado or braggadocio but an unshakeable belief in him-self.
2. Are you Achievement Oriented? The results are obtained by focused and sustained effort. You concentrate on achieving a specific goal, not only fulfilling a series of unrelated tasks.
3. Are you a risk taker? There is an inherent risk of loss to achieve any goal, however, you have the confidence to take calculated risks to achieve their goals.

So which of these three main characteristics is the most important? Believe it or not, is self-confidence.

Without self-confidence, anything is possible. If you do not believe in your abilities, then the first challenge before you can call out a path to achieving their goals. Here are some things to consider to maintain a high level of confidence in itself.

Positive Thinking

It starts with a positive attitude! Convinced that something good will happen is the first step.  Negative thinking is not only allowed (to avoid at this point). You must believe that there are no circumstances strong enough to deter you from achieving your goals.

Try the exercise created by French psychotherapist Emile Coue – each repetition tomorrow “Every day in every way, I’m getting better and better.” You might be surprised that this simple exercise has been delivering results since 1900!

Remember too, that positive thinking can be contagious. When positive thinking spreads, which can open doors to new ideas, clients, friends, etc.

Persistent Action

All the positive thinking and believe the world is useless if not applied toward a goal. You have to take action, no excuses allowed. This action should also be persistent. Trying once and then giving up is not going to be enough. Keeping one step at a time. If you can not get by a certain step, then find a creative way to try again or go around.

Entrepreneurs are people who make decisions, to take action and control their own destinies. They are often motivated by a spirit of independence which leads them to believe that their success depends on raw effort and hard work, not luck.

As Ronald Reagan said, entrepreneurs and small businesses are responsible for almost all the economic growth in the United States.

Look ahead and see yourself where you want to be, maintain a strong belief in yourself and your skills, stick with it, and never give up. If you can do that, you’re already half way!
